    Women cricket has been out of news for so long that when I saw the Pakistani team playing I couldn’t believe my eyes.I was not aware that there is a Pakistani women’s team…..just goes to show how media can help/hinder in building images of people and countries.
    This pic is really cute.Inzzy will be so proud.

    I am a little surprised simply and milind. Pakistan has had a women’s cricket team for a very long time. It just wasn’t any good.

    Pakistan also women fighter pilots in the PAF you know.

    YLH,I have not followed women’s cricket at all after its early hey days of the 70’s and with all the noise about women not playing sports etc ,in Pak media a few years ago, I had no idea there was a woman’s cricket team.Baki sab maalum hai…….I have watched Pakistan TV since 1972….:)….from the aftermath of 1971 war thru Bhuttos era and his overthrow by Zia and the tumult that preceeded the overthrow(for us as children that was bonus time as PTV relayed programs whole day),thru the appearance of dupatta covered heads of news readers and everything else that followed….Benazir,Sharif,Benazir….Mushy…Asif…

    The hair is uncovered and they are praying, it is pathetic. every muslim knows that they should be covered in prayer. This is a mocking of Allahs deen. Learn islam and if you dont like the laws of islam then go be some other religion but dont be a munafiq. Further why are muslim women in public arena. if they wanna play cricket do it in women only arena with NO cameras

    Keep up the good work team, we still have a long way to go. Learn Islam, thats what every Muslim should do. “Brother Islami” I respect your thoughts but before giving these type of comments, I think that you should yourself learn more about Islam. A person with fundamental knowledge of Islam would never comment like that.
