Sweet dreams or wake up from 13 centuries of slumber.
No point defending a wrong ideology which is alien to this subcontinent to say the least or being polite.

    Ref: Sun
Yet another genius from across the border who loves his own halwa.

Perhaps the Hindutvist fanatic will mind explaining what “ideology” is being defended in the poem?

I found this old video clip of my interview on TV…

So now Jang/Geo is promoting revolution and Che in Pakistan…..The Islamists are now the new communists!

    GEO is “Islamist”?

The truth is that free media, democratic process and capitalism have their own logic.

Che was always good for T-shirts :)… if Che can be promoted as a pop icon in capitalist USA by arch capitalists, let GEO appropriate him as well.

Isn’t it good that GEO is talking of progressive things?

I was watching your interview. That was a good presentation.

Geo/Jang has a perspective that is regressive and they are somewhat soft but still Islamists.

I liked the word “lub-e-labaab”. Haven’t heard that in a long time.

The main message of the Geo clip is extremely appropriate. Justice for all, each and every one. Army is appreciated when it defends the borders, not enforce its own dictate on the civilians.

Countries do not overnight get it on how to be progressive and prosperous among the comity of nations. A society of adl and democratic humanism will likely find its way to become a society that cares for each and everyone of its fellow citizens.

I do see minor quips where the poet laments American dominance, painting G10 nation summit in negative light against all the poverty in the world, and portraying religious extremism as a consequence of American actions. Portraying Che and Fidel maybe is part of the anti-imperialist bandwagon that Geo TV likes to jump at time and again. But the main message of this clip is extremely powerful and beyond any question. Thanks for sharing.
