Allama Mashriqi’s 120th Birth Anniversary
“Man is perhaps the only species in Nature endlessly at war with his own species and he is doing this unnatural self-destruction…” — Allama Mashriqi
Allama Mashriqi – reformer, scientist, philosopher, and visionary – dedicated his life to uniting mankind. While Mashriqi made countless efforts to this end through the course of his lifetime, this article presents five key examples which speak to his commitment to unity: (1) his Khaksar Movement’s ideology, (2) his speech at Indore (India) in 1938, (3) his efforts to keep India united, (4) his letter to scholars and scientists entitled the Human Problem, and (5) his Foreword to a book on Islamic Jurisprudence. An analysis of the aforementioned items provides a sufficient sample set with which to derive meaningful conclusions. In fact, it quickly becomes evident that Allama Mashriqi’s vision of equality, social justice and community service are not only still relevant today, but hold the key to solving the problems currently facing the world….

I have a strong opinion about Khaksars. But there is no doubt about the fact that Allama Mashriqi was a very important man.

Khaksars were a fascist militant movement …it was right wing, modelled after Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party and believed in political assassinations.
Their attempted assassinations of Jinnah atleast twice and their frequent and violent disruptions of the Muslim League …

Brotherhood, Service – Irrespective of Caste or Creed,

Khaksar Tehrik’s ideology is reflected in 24 principles and 14 point decree issued by Allama Mashraqi. Available on the following web site:

No Khaksar ever attacked Jinnah.
It must be noted that Jinnah wanted to take political advantage out of this attack. Thus, he did his best to prove in the court that the assassin was a Khaksar, but Justice Blagden refused to accept his version.
To know the facts, read chapter:
“Bogus Attack on Quaid-e-Azam by a Muslim Leaguer”
“Hidden Facts Behind British India’s Freedom: A Scholarly Look into Allama Mashraqi and Quaid-e-Azam’s Political Conflict”

What nonsense.
Rafiq Sabir was a khaksar. Jinnah had no benefit from. pinning the attack on a little known organization known for carrying belchas. Why it would make more political sense to frame the congress.
All historians have blamed the khaksars. Khaksars resorted to such disruption again and again. Yet it was Jinnah who went to visit them in Mayo Hospital.
Jinnah was held to be an honest man of integrity …much more than one can say for the fascist mullah mashriqi.
I hope everyone goes and reads mashriqi’s manifesto …especially the Hindus … I am sure they would thank Jinnah a million times over that such fascists like Mashriqi were not allowed to toil with them as they wanted to.

Pray tell what was it that “judge blagden” say…
October 15, 2008 at 4:31 pm
Allama Mashriqi was a selfless leader and he did what he thought was the best for his people.
He wanted unity between Muslims and non-Muslims. He was against spreading communalism or sectarianism.
Khaksar Tehrik was a large and the most disciplined organisation in British India. Mashriqi’s followers, supporters, and sympathizers (in India and abroad) were well into millions.
Apart from the book mentioned above (Hidden Facts…), information on Justice Blagden’s verdict is available in “Jinnah Faces an Assassin” by Akbar A Peerbhoy (Quaid-e-Azam’s nephew).
It is important to publish Justice Blagden’s complete decision to reveal uncovered facts. Hopefully, it will be done.
It is to be kept in mind, Pakistan’s history is written by pro-Muslim Leaguers and they have distorted it. Not getting into any further discussion. Wishing you all the best.

I think the stupidity of spade carrying marching band of mullahs who prayed in military style inspired by Adolf Hitler (who Mashriqi met and was inspired by) is self evident…
This one time… Mullah Mashriqi tried to create disruption at a Muslim League meeting when Jinnah was speaking… Jinnah stopped took a seat and asked Mullah Mashriqi to have his say….
Mullah Mashriqi was dumb-founded and booed from the stage…

Once again Jinnah’s flag to crush all coming on the way…..

@Majumdar
Molana Mashriqi can be criticized for his thoughts but his calculations about Pakistan’s political future…ethnic conflicts and provincial prejudices…were unfortunately proved right…the reason he pointed out for all that was stronghold of feudalism and beaurocracy…and is also right…
Personalities from the history are judged through their historical positionings not with monocular approach…..
As your way of criticizing Gandhi not make a good impression of U…as Raza pointed it to you

Ali sahib,
As your way of criticizing Gandhi not make a good impression of U
Well, I am not here to win popularity contests, I am here to state facts. I have already told you Gandhi ki kahaani, Gandhi ki apni zubaani. Can you contest what I have said about Gandhi?
If at all anything, I am warning Pakistanis (I am an Indian Hindoo by the way) about the bad consequences of this nefarious character. The troubles in NWFP/FATA are largely the handiwork of this character.
Regarding Molana Mashriqi, all I can say is that it easy to predict doom and gloom and anyone could see that Pakistan was struggling in 1950s. I have visited his website and it is clearly a rather fascist agenda. Tell me, how is any non-Muslim to interpret a command saying that you ahve to uphold Islam’s supremacy. Would you as a Muslim trust me if I talk about Hindoo supremacy?
Regards

@Bro Majumdar
Its rubbish to claim for supremacy on other by any means whether racist or religious….I do agree to U…
I hope U have read my own criticism on Gandhi for his strange religious practices on a political platform…resulted a disbelief among the muslims for that…I have also quoted Acharya’s answer to Ubaidullah Sindhi on making a sub party within the congress in Sindh.. That Congress is the name of Gandhism…
But I dont like to use slang words….that I want to say…
And thanks for avoiding ali akram

Ali mian,
If you somehow feel any congruence between Sindhi and Mashriqi, think again.
Sindhi was a complex thinker… Mashriqi was a simple fascist.
Secondly I’d like you to reconsider what “calculations” or “predictions” Mashriqi actually made.
I am afraid none of the opponents of Pakistan made any predictions that fit our current dilemma which in any event has nothing to do with the creation of Pakistan.
In any event Mashriqi was a nasty character. Even the assassination of Dr. Khan sb is traced back to him…so his mental instability was across the board and not just against Mashriqi.

@YLH
It’s right…there is no similarity between these two personalities…

Allama Mashriqi (sage of the East) was one of the greatest mathematicians and leaders of the 20th century. He was a pivotal figure in the Indian freedom movement. May God rest his soul in eternal peace.
Attention: Moderator Pak Tea House.
The dirty language used by YLH about respected Allama Mashriqi is highly objectionable. His comments must be removed immediately.
Thank you.

Reminder: Moderator Pak Tea House.
Allama Mashriqi was a highly respected scholar and a leader of the grass-roots. His life is full of sacrifices.
No one should be allowed to make disturbing, untrue and hurtful comments against anyone. Such acts must be vehemently denounced.
Moderator of Pak Tea House is requested to remove filthy language used by YLH (probably Yasser Latif Hamdani).
Thank you
