In his trails, words of revolution

What became a dream?
For the poet, for our friend
A blessed soul, of our own
Not borrowed, not stolen
One of our own, the Faraz
We will miss him and words
That breathed revolution
Death can only bring whispers
But words, a torrent of revolution

In the last few weeks…almost everyone using mobiles..have receieved SMS content with some stupidity…in the form of BAZARI SHAIRI…and named it to FARAZ….
I was shocked when An SMS came…and he confessed of humiliating Ahmad Faraz Marhum by editing his poetry with some stupid and nonsense content…using Faraz name…and send it to others…
THE REASON for this was FARAZ’S COMMENTS On some islamic traditions..and prayers…so this was revange of His GUSTAKHIS…viewers can decide…is it a right way to avenge someone of…his personal ideas….

Its the real character of “Moral Majority”. It was delibrate campagin against Faraz. The language chauvinists of 90 were also behind it

i simply hate those ppl, who spoiled the poetry of mr. ahmed faraz coz he is my favourite poet… may his soul rest in peace

Correctly said the ppl should hate those who are making fun of Ahmad Faraz Poetry.
In my opinion Urdu Literature ka “Faraz” Khatam Ho gia..

there was one very interesting Faraz said
Faraz happenned to be in peshawer in an “adabi Mehfil” on the eve of Zia Ul Haqs plane crash
he smingly said . ” aaj is kaa matlab samajh main aya ””””’’shaheed ki jo maut hai woh qaum ki hayat hai”.
another was when he once said, “bhuee hamari shairee kabhee ghair mauzoon naheen hogee, mulk ke haalat jo naheen badaltay”.
hehe, CNBC had a wonderful program on Faraz two days back.
